Boards are customisable column-based workspaces within a project that help you organise information, track progress, and collaborate on specific aspects of your project. Column colours provide visual organisation:
When you assign a colour to a column, cards in that column display a subtle coloured border
The column background is tinted with a light version of the selected colour
A coloured dot appears next to the column name
Boards are flexible and can be adapted for various purposes:
Shot Lists - Organise shots by status (pre-viz, shooting, editing, complete)
Asset Tracking - Track production assets through approval workflows
Reference Library - Collect and categorise reference images and materials
Production Schedule - Visualise shooting schedule by location or day
Equipment Checklist - Track equipment needs and availability
Use descriptive board names to distinguish different organisational purposes
Leverage card images for visual reference (especially useful for shot lists)
Use column colours to create visual hierarchy and quick recognition
Link board cards to tasks to connect planning with execution
Add comments to cards for team communication and decision documentation
Cards maintain their order within columns even when you reload the page
